Hi there, and welcome to "Chance for Life." - I am certain that I will be introducing myself in my blog but my name is Tony and by trade, I am an aspiring project manager who is passionate about creating meaningful change. Through my hours of volunteer work and connection to non profits and charities over the years, I have always wanted to give back in ways that are beyond a check or small donation. In the following sections you will get a snapshot on how I envision sustainable collective change, which will act as my pillars and accountability measures to ensure I get there! From my passion project, I hope to further connect with you all on this journey!
Our Vision
Chance for Life is a passion project that works to discover innovative ways to contribute towards developing social equality. By spreading awareness of the issues that matters most, we believe that if we can do our part in our local and global communities, we can take another step closer in providing amazing opportunities for those with limited chances to do so.
Our Mission
To achieve our vision we believe in five core principles that will guide us on our journey in providing people what they need. These principles include:
- Raise awareness through education. Providing accurate information and evidence that highlights the issues that our communities are facing and how we are going to contribute to change
- Innovate: find unique ways to create a social movement that people want to be a part of. Be a brand that provides a unique experience for customers and all those involved. Have our people feel proud to wear it, show it and speak about our brand.
- Transparency: Be clear and open about what we do, why we do it and how we spend our money. A percentage of all revenue earned through sales and donations will be given directly to our charitable partners. Every quarter we will focus on different issues and we will work with a variety of organizations to put the funds in the hands of people with the power to implement the change we want to see.
- Accountability: After every quarter, our work will be documented to prove to our following that we are serious about our goals. We want you to hold us accountable in our pursuit of change.
- Sustainability: Lastly with the planet in mind. We will do whatever we can to ensure we operate in the most sustainable way that protects the environment, so that we can provide limitless opportunities way into the future.
Together these principles will continue to push our standards to remain high as we deliver products and services that will make meaningful differences to the people we want to serve. Everyone deserves a chance to do what they want and be who they want. We will work tirelessly so that the barriers they face becomes easier to pass through.
